At WVROCKS, there are two types of faculty, Lead Instructors and Facilitators. Lead Instructors should have a terminal degree in their field. In addition to delivering our online courses, they are responsible for ensuring already developed courses they and Facilitators are teaching are ready for upcoming terms (current dates, working links, etc). Facilitators should have an advanced degree (at minimum) in their field and check their own course sites for dates, working links, etc., and delivering their course/s. All faculty are expected to be excellent communicators who are student-centered and able to meet the demands and deadlines of online teaching.
